Our year-round Professional Youth Theater Production Program runs on Wednesdays from 5-8pm and Sundays from 1-4 and 5-8pm at 19 Church Street in Barre, VT and is open to youth of all ages who would like to explore all aspects of theater arts, including building their skills on the stage in the capacity of an actor, singer, and/or dancer, building their technical skills back stage in the areas of lights, sound, costume, and set design/construction, and/or building their skills in professional show production and promotions.

This year’s program is kicking off with a new musical rendition of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow which will premier at the Barre Opera House Halloween Weekend. From there we hope to embark on a production of Les Miserables in January before ending our school-year season with VT’s second educational and community production of Dear Evan Hansen going up in June.

This program gives youth the opportunity to do a deep dive in the professional production creation process as they work to create/produce/and perform on the Barre Opera House stage. This opportunity is available free of charge to all youth participants thanks to grants, sponsorships, and donations. Snacks are provided at all program sessions and transportation is available upon request.
