Week-Long Film Slam Intensive

Want to make a 7 minute movie in a week?!?!?

Join us to learn film basics and make your first short film!

We will guide you through the process of planning, writing, acting in, filming, and editing a short movie to submit to the 2026 Cohase Film Slam Competition.

The program will begin with a weekend overnight experience sponsored by The Barra School and held at their cabin on the Waits River in East Corinth. Youth will have a fun-filled weekend of intensive film making and traditional camp experiences. Campfire with s'mores, anyone?!?

The work will continue during afterschool hours for the next week at The Hub Teen Center in Bradford.

This Film Slam Intensive program will culminate in the 48 Hour Film Slam Screening at The Bradford Academy Auditorium, where youth will get to share their film on the Big Screen!!!

Youth who are interested in continuing their film-making experience can do so on Tuesdays at the Hub Teen Center!
