Acorn Youth Arts is pleased to announce auditions for our upcoming production of Jagged Little Pill.
This production is an intense window into a year in the life of an American family in crisis. The production deals directly with issues of addiction, harassment, sexual violence, racism, homophobia, and gender identity, as well as the cost of perfectionism and trying to live the "American Dream", the impact of being a bystander, and the courage it takes to speak out.
Participation in this production is meant for mature performers who are capable of grappling with this subject matter and who are committed to activist theater.
This show is open to high school and college aged youth. Some roles may be open to adult performers.
Mature middle school students will be allowed to participate with parent/guardian permission.

Your Support Creates Opportunities for Rural VT Youth
We work hard to ensure this programming is 100% FREE for all youth participants. We rely on donations and grants to cover our expenses. Please consider donating to support our programming.
Funds raised will cover costs of this production and support the creation of a Summer Arts Day Camp, monthly Saturday Youth Arts workshops, a Regional Literary Arts program, and year-round Theater Arts and Film Production programming for youth who wouldn't otherwise have access to these opportunities.
