JOIN US as we bring Jonathan Larson’s iconic, Pulitzer Prize winning musical RENT to the Barre Opera House stage this June 20-22nd. 

Open auditions will be held at the Grey Space 

located at 168 North Main Street, Room 7, Northfield, VT 

April 10th from 6-9pm and April 12th from 10-2

Callbacks will be April 13th from 2-5pm. 

*The Audition/Casting window may be extended to assure all roles are filled* 

Any interested high school and college-aged youth is welcome to participate. 

Younger cast members will be accepted with parent permission. 

Everyone who auditions will be cast. 

And every interested technical student will have a spot working on sound, lights, set, or stage crew. 

NOTE: If you cannot make the above audition times, you may request an alternate audition appointment, or you may audition via video submission. We are willing to be flexible to assure everyone who is interested may participate. 

Transportation to/from rehearsals is available upon request, and snacks will be provided, as well. 

BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to participate. 

There is no more critical time than now for RENT to take the stage.
